reason i want to know is the previous forums you could see exactly what it was that you posted that led to the person signing up. i.e. meaning what contributions that you are making that are worthwhile..

You can also do it via the link that you find in FAQ, which automaically has your referrer id on the end...
eg. http://toymods.net/forums/index.php?referrerid=4823
Or, you can link to a for sale thread or tech article and put &referrerid=4823 (obviously with your id) on the end...
