I'd say go with Whiteline, I've had plenty of good experiences with them over the years, however if you have to go with K-Mac, let them do as little work as you can get away with (ie fitting & removal). If possible just take down a standard bar and explain what you need made, and don't assume they know model codes of different year cars.
For my MX73 they first sent me an MX62 front bar, then another MX62 bar that was slightly different, then (once I drove to Sydney) tried fitting an MX83 bar before they realised they didn't have a jig for an MX73 bar. But hey, they do now.

Had dramas getting K-Mac to make a swaybar for my MX6 too, bushes were wrong also. But it fitted up fine and made a big difference!

A picture is worth a few words.

TRD's solution to tying down the live rear axle of a Corona GT.

    TOP IS NORMAL RT104

BOTTOM IS THE SOMEWHAT UNIQUE SOLUTION BY TRD/TOYOTA

Very effective never needed any aftermarket add ons.

Change the shocks to dual action 350 MONARO (1.45 tonne) front and rear and you are in business.

Not bad handling for an old TOY.

    chuck,
i got KMAC crap 7 years ago. after them heaping shit because 'who'd do up a celica?' they stuffed up spring and bar rates. different springs left to right so car didn't sit evenly and way too stiff rear bar and soft front.

when i complained 4 times they re did the springs.

told them that going hard round corners the nose would dive and it would lift a rear [not good]. their reply - 'get an LSD'. i told this knobjockey that it had the factory LSD and he interjected 'so what are u worried about' i calmly explained to the fu(kstick that his job was to improve my suspension not give other upgrade solutions. took out the phone and got out the solicitors card and started to dial and they changed their tune.

Urethane bushings separated from housings, cross threaded bolts.

Go with whiteline. better service better choice and more professional.

BTW thanks for reminding me, i have some KMAC springs and bars for a xA23 which may soon be for sale after i find them in my junkyard!
    1. There's no point arguing with an idiot. They'll just drag you down to their level and beat you with experience
    2. Don't argue with an idiot; people watching may not be able to tell the difference

Have had many custom bars made some by whiteline, one by Liverpool springs and some by eastcoast suspension Whiteline where the most helpful and when I did have a problem with one they fix it up quick as possible.
