high idle
hey guys just recently my car has started to idle at around 1500 rpm when i put it into park. no matter what the temperature. the only way i can make it stop is buy reving it till it comes on boost. can anyone tell me whats wrong its a 1ggte by the way.

it has been backfireing heaps to lately if that helps

Coolant temp sensor then maybe? They affect idle and mixture (idle especially if it has a cold start injector)
