Yep,
I have supplied about 19 pairs to various members of the Cressida forums for the past 3 years... That's why they are now a Stocked item... Same goes for a few other parts that will soon be a locally stocked item..

will these mounts bolt to the VVTI version?
KE38 - 2TG
MS65 - 1UZ
it also has to be a later mod cressy aswell aye? with the newer cross member?
cheers
yes the cressida has to have the late model crossmember and yes the mounts bolt up to a VVTi 1JZGTE. On the VVTi 1J the turbo oil feed line requires a slight bend to clear the mount.
Or a re-route, but to echo JP, they fit.Originally Posted by JP

210rwkw - not bad for a smelly 3TGTE running pump fuel.
awesome thanks guysjust need to find a motor now

How much do you want for your second set?Originally Posted by nemesis86
Just as a heads up..
Toyota Australia Currently have 5 pairs of these engine mounts in stock.
(They had 9 pairs when I last bought a set for someone about 6 weeks ago)
List price
$160.60 (incl GST) (Left)
$137.50 (incl GST) (Right)
Trade price is obviously a bit cheaper for those of you that can get it..
A guy I was talking to on the weekend said that with the chaser mounts the engine sits too far back to be able to get to the bellhousing bolts to take the gearbox off with the engine still in the car?
I am the sun
with the x81 chaser mounts, it places the motor in exactly the right spot in the bay.
Yes it's difficult to get at the top bellhousing bolts, but it's just as difficult in a real X81 chaser as there's exactly the same amount of clearance.
You have to unbolt the gearbox crossmember and angle the box down to get at the top bolts. Is it possible your mate has never worked on a x81 car/cut with the 1J from factory?
When using an x81 crossmember and mounts to bolt a 1J into an x70 cressida etc, there is about 15-20mm more clearance at the firewall than there is in a real X81 chaser/cresta/markII etc.
Not entirely correct, it can be done, just very tight..
My trans was removed whilst on the hoist
It's exactly the same as it would be in the JZX81 Chaser..
EDIT : (do'h JP beat me to it)...
