you can still mount the alt to the inlet side when running a gze inlet manifold. as with if useing a ge inlet manifold (aw11 ge manifold is all you need) you still need to source the ge coolant outlet from the head and pipe that runs from it along the rear of the head. that outlet has the bolt holes for the top alt mounting/tensioner braket.Personally i would go to the FWD manifold along with the alternator mount for it. That way the alt is pissed off to the back of the engine where its not affected so much by extreme heat, and you have more room to mount the turbo.
Also the FWD inlet points nicely in the direction you want for the IC, and you can use an NA cable.
water to oil cooler. or more precise a water cooled oil cooler.... works just like a w2a i/c but has oil cooled by the engines coolant instead of air. the Oz spec ge aw11's have this standard for the engine oil. tempted to try and run the lil feral's eng and trans coolers with a seperate heat exchanger/pump instead of useing the engine coolant.Feral.. Whats W2o?
