They are half way between a T series and an F code, however LSD is basically non existent for them. The biggest advantage (at least local to me anyway) is they are CHEAP!!! Assuming you aren't paying to swap mounts over then go for it.

i've been looking at getting a beefer diff for the rona and i've seen a few targos at pick and pocket and i've noticed that there e series diffs and i am wondering how much spline does there axles have ? also what kinda power can they handle

I've heard it rumoured that Tarago E series axles are interchangable with large axle AE86 T series axles.
I'd vote for a Tarago F series rather than E, simply because of the availability of LSDs

If youre going to upgrade, go to a hilux or hiace diff - handle shitloads of power, and inital cost wil be only about 100 more than an f series. supra lsds bolt strauight in to.Originally Posted by Hen

i was out and about to day looking for diffs and i came across a mark 2 corona with a diff so i took it cheap too just gotta take it to the diff shop nowi would of gorn a hilux but i think it's just too much over kill for my needs i would be lucky to have 250hp
is it a f or a e series diff sam they had both
D
it's a f series i havent measured it up but the id tag said F it was a mx13 i think! with a 4m but could of been 5m and it had a w40 behind it
now you got me paranoid about it beening a E diff
it was at pick pay n go on a side note there was a nice pig spec ae71 matt black with deap dish sunraiser rims

the only ones that had e series were mx10 and mx22. Mx13 and mx23 had f series. (im pretty sure the e's didnt come out in the later model, but someone correct me if im wrong)Originally Posted by sam-131

Thaty doesn't mean the difgf has been swapped at some stage... it has happened in the club before. I'd make rally sure before swapping brackets

Beige.... The new Black!!!
Hi.
Your correct Robbos Toyotas. MX12 / MX22 E Series, and MX13 / MX23 F Series.
But I have been caught out in the pass, where someone switched out the F series with E series as it is harder to find the F Series diff.

yeah well i figure mk2 owners are safe - theres more mx13s than mx10/12's aroundOriginally Posted by cyprus73
but if you break an e series - go straight for a g series![]()
