    Default 5me valve clearance

    need the clearances for 5me , rockerarm to camshaft clearance actually

    i think its 0.010" on the exhaust and 0.008" on the intake from memory...

    you set the gap in these motors between rocker arm and valve stem?

    Ok, the inlet side is 0.28mm or 0.0110in ex side is 0.35mm or 0.0138in.
    Measured between the valve stem & the rocker arm.
    This is the correct settings as per the 5 ME engine manual.
    If it feels good "DO IT" Unless it harms others.(or upsets the RTA)

    thanks guys, and for anyone else looking for this info, the 0.28mm EX and 0.35mm IN are for a hot engine.
