    Angry Cluster Problems

Hey i was wondering if anyone could help me...

I own a AE95R 4WD Corolla (base modle). I recently got hold of the cluster out of the same car but the SR5 (optioned modle) this cluster has a tacho. everything but the tacho works, does anyone know how i can hook it up. its got the standard 4AFE engine in it.

    Thanks

Is the tacho wired in? Check wiring diagrams because your car should have a tacho output wire somewhere or a pin on the ECU for the tacho (if it got one or not).
Can you get a bit more info on why its not working....Power? earth?

So the old one didn't have a tacho.. does the new one have the tacho connector plugged in
Chances are the connector for it is taped up to the rest of the loom somewhere

not sure what the set up is like but in my ae82, had to change some wof the screws to get the tacho working, but like the others have said make sure you have the tacho connector connected

I figured it out, had to run a wire from the distributer to one of the plugs behind the dash, had to remove one of the connections from a plug and replace it with the wire i ran. Lucky im and Auto Elec huh. Hahaha. Thanks guys.
