W W, the panels either side of the radiator, which mount the headlights and hinges are the "Radiator support panels", The removable bar across the top, is strangely called the removable tie bar. The cowling under the bumper, is called the apron. The large chassis bar between the 2 chassis rails at the front is called the chassis tie bar.

TA22 radiators are about 120mm narrower than RA23 and RA28, The TA23, used a TA22 size radiator, with an extended side bracket, which enabled it to fit in the RA style opening. The detail of the support panels also changed from 22 to 23.

If you need to remove the radiator support panels, you will need to purchase a special drill bit, and use it to drill out the spot welds. The spot drill has a much flatter cutting angle, and you only drill through the panel you are removing.

    cheers Chuck.
