and to confuse things even more:

Hey peoples,
I have had a torsen center advertised on supraforums, the thing is a mod has closed my forsale thread because I cant be sure if the diff is an A series or a G series torsen. I cant have my forsale thread re-opened until it is confirmed the id of the diff I am selling.
I have posted several times on various threads asking for assistance, but I havent had much luck.
Here is the thread I started (it has pics). I personally think it is an A series torsen center. I have done plenty of investigation and from what I have found both A series and G series are the smaller 10 bolt centers (B series is the larger 12 bolt center). A guy "Manny" who is also a member on here was selling a G series torsen, and my torsen looks to be different to his, hence my reason for why I think mine could be an A series center.

If any one can help me out or if they want more pics (seeming the link to my forsale thread which is in my first post is inactive), then please post here.
If some one has pictures of an A series center for comparison could they please email them to me at [email protected] or post them up here.
Thank you kindly in advance,
Your help is much appreciated.
Regards,
James

Looks like there are two types of G series diffs, and from the looks of it, mine is a G series now. Look at this pic and compare it to mine. They are identicle
Pic of My Torsen center on the side:
Manny's pic of G series torsen:
They look pretty much Identicle
And then you have a look at this other G series that Manny's posted:
Totally different again.....
Oh well it looks to be a G series, cause when I look at the pick it is the same as mine in every way even the top view has the same stampings. The serial numbers are almost identicle too, the other diffs dont have those serial numbers down the side like mine.
Ok now....what car will this center fit? Will Manny remember what car he got that G series diff out of? And would he know what cars it will fit. Its just so I can PM the mod on Supra forums and tell him to un-close my thread
This confuses me even more
This is the diff that manny had advertised as a G series, but when you look at it and compare it to the diff he states as an A series:
They look identicle also?
Farrrrrk
So far my diff look the most like the G series, I just hope that manny has his lableing correct so I can know for sure.
I wonder if both G series fit both sorts of cars? Are they interchangable?
If so then I spose that is good. That means xA70 Supras, xZ20 Soarers, JZX90/100/110, going by manny's thread:

Might give hime a PM
what we need is for you to donate your diff to someone with an a series - and see if it fits
