Hey I'm still in Darwin mainly drive my 07 lux and the mrs drives our jzx100 chaser is the dark green/ black one with black rims usually parked underground at cas. starting on the ra28 rebuild soon so will be back out cruising then

I got a fair bit of tidying up to do with the Hachi... Enough to keep my modding bug at bay while I'm up there. I'll be missing all my other cars and my garage while I'm in Darwin though...

Anyone know of a decent paint and panel shop to do a little bit of rust proofing and a quick spray?

Yeah I know what you mean about getting jealous haha I was reading the thread about "the origin of toymods" and started wishing we had something like this up here. I would try and do something like that at mine atm, perhaps if I get that 3 foot high back lawn sorted we can all get together and have a beer and touch base?

Or if no one feels like drinking we could all go for a small cruise together? Or wait till Darwin Imports has their first cruise in a bout 3-4 weeks and go as one larger crew?

It saddens me to say that me and the corona parted ways many many moons ago when i left brizzy, my 86 too i miss them im looking into building another rona but the tyrany of distance
here means it will cost 2 x what im willing to spend and take 2 x longer than id want it to. I will build one again but all the surrounding circumstances must be just right,right car right motor right price

I can relate, I'm in the middle of rebuilding an RT132 - very costly, and time consuming. But shit its either keep going or find another hobby hey?

Haha work truck Izuzu NLR 200 or dumbo cause its go a narrow cab and full width tray so the mirrors stick out like big dombo ears
ps absolutly fried the maxima in my facebook album but still owed heaps on it now thats paid off i can start to save and look for a rona project

Once apon a time i was "THE" choppa 11 years ago no one was chopping like i was (not pro but just for shits and giggles really)
i got heaps more that arent on the net
i still chop but the time is not there to do 1 every few days so im lucky if i can finnish one a year
