These rod 'fashion fads' & advertising BS seem to come & go.
If there was a definite advantage, other then ease of manufacturing, they'd all be one way or the other.
exept go with what the best engine builders are using for an engine that has similar traitesbecause they R&D and spend a fair bit of money doing it!
You would be hard pressed finding many things from say F1 engine that you could straight cross over to an engine that would be luck to see 8000rpm etc and has a much heaver rotating mass that has most of its torque buy 4-6000 rpm.
god 2 hours sleep again!

So really it's a two way split. I think I'll have to take the advice and actually talk to a few of the people who tune these cars, rather, rebuild engines. They may likely have a clearer idea. ^_^'
Id be more likely to talk to an engine builder about it than a tunerYou dont talk to a software expert about hardware

Yeah, what I meant to say was builder. ^_^'
cool thought so but the tuner confussed me, but thats not hard to do at the moment with lack of sleep! Most times its best to go with what your engine builder knows and is happy with aslong as you happy with it aswell.
To true.
Keeping with the topic with conrods... I've also noticed some different shapes as well. Centre ribbed I types (I think and almost X in shape.
