Most seats will fit (the biggest question would be width I guess) but the rails will need to be modified.

The other thing to look at when changing seats is how different in height the actual section you sit on is compared to the seat you are replacing. Some seats may be significantly higher or lower than your original which can be a problem if you are very tall or very short etc.

I had a pair of Cobra fixed back buckets at one stage in my car, they were not comfortable at all. They did keep you in place though.

Ba aware that the bolstering on a lot of the cheap racing "style" buckets is only foam with no frame, so they look cool and actually offer very little support at all.

Sit in a few and feel what's right for you. Your own body shape will determine the comfort level too. Something that is nice and comfy for a skinny guy might be a pain to sit in for an ample bloke.

I've got a recaro SR2/3 in my seca sx and it actually sits a bit lower than the standard seat (probably an inch) and it's fitted to the factory rail. If you want i'll take it out shortly when i put my carpet back in and get some shots of the rail/mounts etc

I have also seen WRX seats and sparco sprints fitting in AE92's.. the WRX seats were an absolute pain to fit form what i've been told
