Listen, I still stand by my actions - but I did not expect or desire Bexi to cop an avalanche of -ve rep. Unfortunately, I do not have the power to lock the thread or delete it to stop others giving him (or her) a whack. I would of hoped that people would of seen Bexi was slapped and left it at that rather than jumping on the bandwagon. Unfortunately I can't control what others do.

I have no intention to -ve rep anyone backwards into the red. Matter of fact I rarely -ve rep and this was one of the few times I did. Furthermore, check the "Variable Rep" thread in the Feedback section where in cases like this I would only use a -1 rep rather than the relatively large amount -rep I can now deal out by default (which I cannot change).

However, my +ve rep is double my -ve and I would like the chance to givce Bexi some +rep when I see something he (she?) posts that helps someone in the forums.

just my personal oppinion but with 2 relitively big hitters giving -ve rep (and announcing that they have done) the rest of the people that dished it out should of thought alot harder and just left it be.

i didn't -ve rep.. i actually considered pos repping them back past 0 when they went negative.. but i figured once this thread was started, it would go up for some strange reason....

i believe if you become a financial member you are able to sell stuff without restriction. there should be a sticky post at the top of the for sale section. I think that may be why you were persecuted.

no i'm not siging up to sell something... check my details for how long i've been on the forums and check the old forums too. i was at the first dyno day toymods had. i helped build the original founder of this club's first car....

I was lazy and din't want to have to try and figure out through scrolling through faq's and searching for the right answer.... this is my problem/laziness and i am SORRY for that.

However i stand by my comments about the immaturity with the way it was dealt with especially seeing as i've been posting on this forum for 6 years and have never caused any problems on here.... that is this forum or the old one.

Agreed. Let's move on. For what it's worth I have been thinking about different ways to handle such incidents, and hopefully restrain the -ve rep bandwagon that is overkill for an ostensibly minor infraction.

Both River and Ed_JZA80 both -ve repped and said that they did.
Both these guys are pretty big hitters and in my opinion that should of been more then enough of a kick in the butt.
