Those of you fitting the 150W landing lights should be ok with stock wiring (Not ideal) The GT Ta22 was released with 100W landing lights as high beam from factory

Another good option is to upgrade at least one pair to the crystal blue bulbs. Somebody on here posted up the difference as shown in their shed. One white halogen, one blue, both pointing the same both same wattage, and the blue one lit up a lot more area with a lot more clarity. Good for extended vision without blinding the poor sucker in front of you as much. Also helps keep skippy from bending your bumper.

Always a good idea to upgrade your wiring as this will affect the performance of your new bulbs... helps the old ones too. Ill be looking into the QLD legalities of 4/4 high/low soon, so I will report my findings when I come across that one. Other option is to have a switch between 4/4 and 2/2 mode.

Yeah but I don't think that the whole blue light craze will go with the classic look of an old celica. I'm going with the non tinted ones. It'll be a major improvement over the stock lights anyway.
The wiring will be upgraded to cope and probably the alternator too. Now got to hunt for that write up on changing to a falcon? alternator that was posted a while back.
