Default Supercharger sizing spreadsheet??? and air flow to hp calcs?

    Ladies and gents,

I saw a while ago a very handy spreadsheet used for supercharger sizing. It let you enter your engine capacity, boost wanted, redline, etc and suggested an SC for your application. It also let you choose one and then decided if it was oversized, undersized, spinning too fast etc...

However I can't find it any more. Anyone have a copy of it? Or can point me at one?

Also I am trying to read some SC maps and don't know the (approximate) conversion from cubic metres per minute airflow to kW. I know I could work it out from basics but I think my results would be way out due to the assumptions made.

Can anyone enlighten me on this conversion? m3/min -> kW?
Or even ft3/min -> hp or anything similar.

    Thanks
    Hen

if you are logging injector duty cycles and A:F ratios then you should be able to work backward to find the power made from that amount of air flowing in.

And for the record, from the above SC calculator, it suggests that at sea level and with an AFR of 12.5 : 1 then

1 cubic metre of air per minute will produce 15.85 kw

I'm sure there are assumptions made to produce this figure, but it will help when reading turbo or SC maps.

It's a very handy spreadsheet, good gains to be made from me S/Cing my engine too
2JZ-GZE, I think d0ng is the only other person I know who has considered this. Don't worry it's only a crazy idea and not likely to happen.
