    Default 1JZ ISCV images

    Hiya,
Has anyone got any pics or diagrams of how a 1JZ ISCV should go together.
I think something is missing from mine, but i've nothing to compare it to.
    Thanks.

Perhaps I was asking a little too much for an image.
I've got the car in a workshop, it is hard to start and doesnt idle properly. Backfiring and running rich etc.
The dude reckons the valve in the ISCV is flopping around loose, like there is something missing, perhaps a spring. I did pull the ICSV off at one point and I believe something may have dropped out.
The "clean your ISCV" thread doesnt really have the info I was hoping to find there.
Any help would be appreciated guys, this is driving me nuts.

    Thanks Wilbo,
I was trying to get those pages from cygnus, but they seem to be offline atm.
Judging from that image though, you can remove the ISCV from the intake manifold without anything falling out of the ISCV itself.

I must have lost the seal washer that holds the Check Valve in place. Leaving the Check Valve to flop around.

    Maybe,

But that wouldn't explain to me why it wont idle....that valve is to stop boost from going back through the ISCV...it should do nothing at idle... (hence why only the 7mgte in that pic is fitted with it and not the 7mge)...

    Cheers

Yes I realise that, but it is only step 1 in sorting out the issue really.
It's been running terribly since I pulled the injectors out to get them serviced, but couldnt. So just put them back in. At which point I unbolted the ISCV hoping it would make getting the injectors back in easier, it didn't. The fuel injection guy also found some broken wiring which may have something to do with the probs.
