where to start - the guys are cockheads and when they refused to print of my mates afr graph after his motor just blew up that was the end of any dealings with them

It was based on the following:
    1. We've been there before and it was successful
    2. The guys were welcoming and didn't poke fun at our cars (like Xspeed)
    3. They lend us a BBQ to cook up some lunch
    4. There is a convenient viewing area of the dyno
    5. There is plenty of parking in the car park and on the street for our 30+ entrants and spectators.
    6. I'm organising it - so I can choose where we go! haha

I will update the first post with all relevant details of the day.
but those who are hanging on new posts only:

Place: HyperDrive, U1 / 28 Vale St, Malaga
    Day: Saturday 11 Nov 06
    Time: 10am sharp
    Cost: $45 / car

Guess I should organise some awards too...
Rob - what did we have last time??

so i wont give em any of my money... did i also mention when my mate told hyperdrive they wernt building nor tuning his built motor - my mate took all his stuff (crank rods pistons block back off hyperdrive (which were sent for machining) and hyperdrive failed to give him the grub screws from him 6000 dollar billet crank back (which my mate didnt realise) and built his motor without them only to find his motor wasnt making oil pressure

coFF33 .. weren't you at the first one at Hyperdrive?
talk to your mate Adsport and I'm sure you'll find the guys there aren't all headless monsters..

Disturbed1... sorry to hear your mate had so much drama's with them.

I agree that performance shops - including Hyperdrive - can be dodgy sometimes, just trying to make a buck.. but then there's others that will praise the work they do ..
So I guess there's 2 sides to each coin.

but that aside - They won't actually be doing work on your car - just sticking it on the dyno and giving it a power run.
But I guess its up to you in the end..
I'll leave you on the list for now in case you reconsider (so you don't loose your spot).

yeah xspeed is another 1 hahahahah, mate didt have much luck with them either - a head porting job was suppose to take 1-2 weeks.. turned out to be 14-16 weeks and even then had to pick it up incomplete!! but yeah.. if i change my mind will let ya know - only thing drawing me to hyperdrive is thats where my car was dynoed there b4 for comparisson sake.....

Cool Re: OST Dyno Day # 3

I wouldn't mind seeing awards for classes that give some of the smaller turbos a chance against the big HP turbos (i.e 6 cyl+), but last time that turned into a drama getting anywhere with suggestions of HP/capacity type things. So, go with whatever, I'll just be checking-out how mine goes.
