Default WIDE TYRES ON RA23's 245/50/16 FITTABLE?

hey guys, whats the widest tyre that will fit inside the rear arches of a 23?

i have 225/50/16's on the rear ATM, wanting to go wider, 235/50/16's are $400 each as they are a jaguar size and only pirelli makes em, (out of the q's)

245/50/16's are $150 each roughly for a cheep one, BUT WILL THEY FIT?

    cheers guys, blake

i run 245/45/18's depends on the off set of your rim and how wid the rim is , to as how much bag you get etc , also depends on the hight of the car as celica gards roll back a lot towords the back of the car , i have see 255/50/17 under one and 285/15/50's under one , so they probly will fit , just try em and see
