    Default airflow to map sensor

i recently blew my 88kw 4age up in my ae82..
i was considering a full rebuild but i can get another engine real cheap..the only problem is that it is airflow metered instead of MAP sensored.
would it be possible to change the manifolds over so i can have the map sensor instead of the airflow meter.
both of the engines have TVIS aswell.
any help would be greatly appreciated..

To run a map sensor it is not necessary to swap manifolds, just plumb MAP snesor line into the intake mainfold after the throttle body, don't share a manifold port with another vacumn line.

I assume you've sourced an AE11 4AGE? True - if the manifolds are the same to your old motor, no need to swap, if they're different you may need to do so - go and look at everything that runs on, around, and through the manifold to determine your course of action?!
