seriously tho, if it feels like something is unbalanced... that is bad.
smoke check
compression check.
spark plug check and leads check (could have just lost a cylinder)
then again, bad noise = not good.. might have kissed a valve...
anyway, if nothing outside the motor is rooted, and compression check is ok.. pull it down to see what went bang.
if compression is bad.. you have to pull it down anyway...

Something makes a bad noise...then I pull over. Oil pressure may be slightly lower, temp ok. Idles alot worse. Blows no smoke. Doesnt make any more strange noises. But the assembly seems really un-balanced. Power is lower, like it's not porportional to acceleration. The un-blanced "rumble" makes me suspect a bearing somewhere....Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated on where I should look first. Don't post here if you're just gonna tell me I'm a dick. I know this much already. Any help appreciated guys...
