    Default F serires Diff - Corona Mk II

    Hi All.

    I have been advised that the diff centre out of an MA61 supra will fit into my Corona
    MK II F series diff.

    I just want to confirm this is the case before I purchase on.
    Spoke to some wreckers and they advised it will not fit as th MA61 is IRS.

    Is it a striaght swap or not?

    Thks

    yep - it fits. thats what im running in my MX13 diff housing at the moment

    just need to double check your mkII actually has a F series diff. read the toyota compliance plate and look beside "trans/axle" it should say something like;

    the diff code is referring to the latter part.... the first part refers to the gearbox

    "W40 F302"
    or
    "W40 E302"

    let us know which it is

    edit;
    if it is this
    "W40 F302"

    then your good to go

    but.... if its this one....then bad luck

    "W40 E302"

    Yup, you don't become a wrecker because you're a rocket surgeon.

    From memory a few people here have put F series IRS centres in live axle housings, so it can definitely be done.

    Hi all.

    Its the F, I pulled it out of an MX13 as I have the MX22.

    Good, so its a straight swap, now I have to find one?

    Cheers.

    Yeah i'm ruinning a RA65 diff ratio (which came from IRS) with a True trak F series centre all in a Crown live axle.

    Pube found the true traks in granville for around $700 i think which is what i paid for mine in the first group buy.
