Apart from that its 100% ?
Lots of folks have asked this, so, while the shebang was out on the weekend I took a minute to photo it
as per the red circle that bolt doesn't get a look in.....no ear on the bell for it to connect to. if you were pedantic you could weld an ear on and drill it, but, it seemed to do fine without it.
hope this helps![]()

yup, cruz. no problems
even the darn gearbox stays line up mate!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
hey i have been trying to get hold of a T series motor to W series gearbox bellhousing lol, not easy or cheap! and yeah i have seen that people have been using 1G series motor bellhousing successfully as an alternative
so the only difference is that the clutch slave cylinder swaps sides and one bolt doesnt go in... - edited (clutch slave not starter)
now the G series bellhousing is from the 1G series of motors
what W series gearboxes does the 1G series of motors come with from factory if any? W50, W55, W58 etc?
i assume it must come with one W series box as the W series box seems to bolt up.
what i want to do is buy the entire gearbox and bellhousing to suit as it will be cheaper, has to be a W50 or W55 gearbox as these ratios suit my small motor. else i will have to get the bellhousing seperate and a W55 gearbox from a SA63 celica.

W55->W58
I think the slave cylinder is on the opposite side too.

slave is on the passenger side (as shown in above pics)
T to W bell's are hard to find. i gave one away about 6 months ago not knowing what it was
Grega,
With the slave cylinder on the passenger side. How does it go clearing the exhaust?
Would there be any heat concerns?

i had a 3" dump pipe off a turbo going past it and didn't seem to have any issues with clutchalthough i did run a braided clutch line.
with standard extractors ect i don't think there would be an issue
I found a pic on my other computer the other day directly comparing the two bellhousing, will see if I can find it again and post it up.

i paid a pretty penny for my W-T bellhouse... and it took me a few months to find one too
but now i will never go back LOL
cheers
Yep, advantages of using a T series bellhousing on a T series motor in moving the clutch slave cylinder, far outweigh the cost I feel, don'tforget to also shield the starter motor from extractor, turbo heat - they'll last a dumplaod (pun intended) loneger that way too.
Glad you're happy with the bell, Fadee!
alot of people have no issues with the slave on the passenger side BUT this is for street use... i know a few people that when racing have boiled the fluid in the slave and lost their clutch but you have to understand racing is constant high revs, heat and the rest of it...
Joel (TurboRA28) used it for AGES and seemed to never have an issue... i bought my G series housing from him when he went the 3S way but then i got the T series and got rid of the G
cheers
