    Default Thread layout

Changed the postbit to have the the user info display on the left hand side of the posts. This takes a fair amount of space so that it is able to resize for different size names etc without haveing the tables look messed up.

Not too sure if I like it.

    What do people think?

Which do you like better info on the side or at the top?

Actually now I've tweaked the size setting for the user info so it's not so bad.

I like it! Having them above every post was a huge waste of space.

Perhaps put a black border and add in some padding to move the post text to the right a bit?

yep - HEAPS better - you can easily read who said what by just scrolling down the thread now. Much cleaner appearance IMHO.

Agreed with Max, there needs to be a couple of points padding between the left-hand margin of the text in the post body and the border of the "user info cell"
    <----------- too close see

Otherwise, starting to look heaps cleaner

Cell padding fixed to get the posts away from the edges. I think I might have screwed that up when I was looking for how to change the width of the user info column.

Mind you I don't want to mess around with this stuff too much in case I have to do it again for the updated design Rob comes up with.
