yeah quite a few companies do make mini spools and full spools, they would do hilux g series for sure but just in case you didnt know they are illegal for street use.

Hey man, how do you find it? I haven't found anyone else who's put one in anything other than 4WDs, and I have one in my AE86 now. Haven't driven it yet, but am expecting it to be a fairly harsh experience!

    Cheers,

    Jeremy.

i wouldnt run a spool in a drift car id go for a lockrite or kaaz ie something harsh but not solid.

a spool will cause understeer on turnin and generally not give you as much car control as a locked centre. good for drags but not so good for drift.

    cheers

cpt im running a locker in my current soarer, I ran one in my old drift soarer and I ran one in my Laurel as well...I eventually switched to a $1000 KAAZ LSD in my laurel and didnt notice a pinch of shit difference...it was just as noisy and clunky and id didnt make the car drift any better at all...

not a spool to be fair...but a class a CIG locker (weldy weldy) as the same as a mini spool as its permanently locked...

also...stock clutch LSD's can be welded so long as you have a nice small attachment on the end of your mig...just pump a shitload of wire into it and bobs yer uncle

beats trying to find an open diff for free/less than $50...I got quoted rediculous money for one when I was looking...this way I got to keep my 4.3 and have a nice tight locked diff

Just pump wire into the little windows on the LSD centre...and voila

    also

locked LSD is free (under $50 or carton of beer)...and when you break it (which i doubt you will) you get another one for next to nothing out of a cressida, supra or soarer and weld it again

breaking an expensive LSD is a royal PITA of an exercise to go through...just some food for thought
