Cool so the seal will come out piss easy once I have removed the other stuff? I have to fix my crank trigger disc anyway.
Yeah, you can fish it out with a small screwdriver etc., and the new one should press in without too much trouble. Remember to put some oil on the new one, treat it gently, and push it right in.

Can't remember, even though I bought it a few days ago! Bought it with a bunch of other stuff.. But it wasn't expensive, under $10 trade price from my local bearing place.

Yep, takes about 2 mins to replace it once you have pulled everything off
very easy to remove - small screwdriver as was mentioned, will do the trick, then gently tap the new one in...
This pic shows the water pump removed also, but the toothed gear still on the crank ( gently pry off with a small screwdriver...

Dont put a non gen seal in there , it will leak again very soon, nothing compares to the genuine seals .

Recurrent failure appears to be a common problem with boosted 2JZs. Reading your thread on PF, I get the vibe that's where you're going. Maybe read the various fixes posted on supraforums.com (not the Aus site).
Thanks guys. I posted the same question at the same time. I don't even think the leak is to bad. I am just going to fix it becuase I have to fix the trigger disc and it would be silly not to do the seal while I am there.

While you are at it, grab a couple of cam seals, and a new timing belt, then you will be sweet for another 100,000 k's. You already have access, so no point doing the same job twice.

Done the belt already. Wish I done the othet stuff then too. I didn't know the cam seals had a tendancy to leak? Are they easy to replace too? How much do they cost?
