I dont think a mass produced lynx 18R manifold should be compared to a custom 4ag one...

Stock manifolds are good to work with, if u want to give it a try Rusty feel free to ask me any questions.
Just so the others know! What you said is true if your chacing 0.111 of a HP on a race engine and does not own a die grinder, but in normal performane street engine there would be no diffrence that you could measure. It is very easy for even someone thats never held a file to get rid of dags and it dosnt take long.
Just put this in for the future so it dosnt put people off the cast manifold with wrong information.
The advantage with a custom one is runner sizing and a little less heat retention, besides that there is no diffrence really as they are short and straight.

    Rusty,

Go with the Redline dual 2T/3T/13T manifold. There are linkage and cable kits to suit if you decide to run Webers also on the Redline site. And they have ram tubes and filter socks. You maybe able to broker a complete package deal, except for the Webers.

    Manifold: PART NO. 12-3136
    Linkage kit: PART NO. 42-2636
    Ram Tube: PART NO. 16-86
Filter Socks: PART NO. RS405/2 x two

Any aftermarket auto place stocking Redline products should be able to price it all and get it in. If they dont I can try my contacts for you.

    Regards

The 2T-G manifold is not quiet the same.

It will not bolt onto any of the OHV, T-series motors (2T,3T,13T).

However the port spacing is the same and so could be bolted with an adaptor plate or be modified by welding in plates between mounting tabs and then redrilling to suit.

So the redline one that suits 2TG and 13T's must have both bolt patterns.
    Cleared that up.

    Tosco,

Ah no not cleared up yet. Yes they all have OHV, I should have added pushrod.

So the Redline manifold is not a universal fit for OHV pushrod 2T motors and DOHC 2T-G motors?

The Redline manifold for the 2T/3T/13T, is just that.

There is however a Redline manifold for the 2T-G (part number: 12-19).

    Regards

Ops, i didnt actually check the redline parts, i jsut miss read what you said before. If the port spaces are the same, then id expect a multi fit vr to be avaliable, but maybe there are other factors.

The cost of the manifold and carbies will be close to a complete 2TG...
