If mine hadn't sold 4 days before the event it would have been there, However I was there carless.

I was a good day, I'm amazed at the number and variance of cars that were there, and meeting some of the guys from WA. I think I'll be with Josh and freighting a car over and driving back in convoy.

Awsome turnout of Celicas both new and old, I'd definatly like to see alot more trophies next year as for me there were some stand out cars that really didn't get much of a look in as there were just better cars there.

I'd really like to say I'll be there next year with the Celica, however Toyota Fest 08 is probably a more realistic target.

Stitt trailoring his dad's crown home provided a few moments of brown pant syndrome on James Rouse Drive, I don't think Stitt realised how far out of shape that trailor got.

What can I say guys except WOW! Prior commitments meant I had to leave pretty early on in the day, but I was both shocked and delighted by the number of cars (and also quality of the cars) that were entered. As Josh said above, this event has doubled in size since it first ran two years ago, and while a lot of that is due to the hard work of the Toymods Board (esp. Dave) for getting it all happening, it also comes down to one fantastic Toyota community getting on board for a great event. Major restecp to the many people that made the long trek from interstate to be here for it, and I hope this day continues to grow in the future. It was great to see the carpark so packed, and will be absolutely fantastic if we're able to start filling up the other side as well in the years coming.

Congratulations to everyone who put in the hard work to have their cars so beautifully turned out for the day, and when I get a chance I'll get some of my photos online. Will be hanging out to hear the final results of the judging and see who won what. See everyone tonight at the LowenBrau!
    Cheers,
    Paul.

who was the guy cruising around in that yellow thing with the rotary in it?

(or it was a normal engine he'd just unplugged 1 cyclinder to make sound like a rotary)
As they say in the book, assembly is the reverse of dismantling, but slower cos you forgot where all the bits are

Excellent event - glad i put my job on the line to get there!

    Highlights

Words of wisdonm from river - His wisdom exceeds all - and encompasses everything

Seeing Rivers engine bay - and surviving - younger less accustomed men of virtue would have left with a sticky leg

Clint feeling up my leg at dongs place

The dong - Nuff said ! ( good times! )

Stitts wagon - OMGWTFBBQ! Wagons aint meant to go that fast!

Stitty himself - your a champ big fella !

The WA lads and ladies ! - top effort.

Dong Senior - and the propsals he offered

    Decaf's ( coffee's ) hair

Stitts Dorifto trailer incident ( more a thank god it didnt happen - moment ! )

    BLU 22 '71 ta22 Celica - Ahem - CREAM! * smokes a ciggy *

The display itself - Awesome amount of cars - BUT -neg for not enough Gt4's ( TOOBS!?!?! )

The atmosphere in and around the event - it never fails to impress me of the " family feel " toymods has - it truely is toymods FTW!

Wont be in a car for 2007 - as ill be still in NZ - but hope to see 2008 at least in a new improved genuine St205 Group A WRC !

Awesome show. I really wish my car was entered. I got stuck into my car as soon as I got home.

I was talking to a guy with a blue ra28 had a 1ggte in it. The car had the flat perspex pieces covering the headlights and the genuine Volk rims, are you on these forums? I forgot the contact details of the guy that got you the wheels. Off some Nissan forum...

Could you please give me a PM?

    Ben
