yeah i had a good look around for what little time i was there. Decided to make some apare time between installing the 2jz back into my engine bay.
After seeing all the car trailers there i should have brought mine out to play in the sunshine. Maybe next time when it will be drivable. It would have been the only hilux there.

1980RIP NATHAN BRETT DEAN2007,
that's why there was the second carpark opposite us on standby if we had too many rides for just the one. Haven't used it so far, but I'm thinking the way this event is progressing, it will be made good use of next year.Originally Posted by GU11TY
Great show guys, big thumbs-up to the Toymods board and organisers, huge effort and really successful too. Great day, great cars, great people, and good to catch up with some familiar faces too.
This show has gone from strength to strength during it's first 3 years, and if those years are anything to go by, it has a great future ahead of it. Easily 100+ for next year.
ah yeh
i saw that car park n was like i wonder if we can use that

Big thanks to the Judges for voting me Top Hatch at the show, makes it all worth while doing up your car when other people respect all the hard work and effort that goes into it.

I think the fact that toymods can get some car nuts out of bed at 4 to 4:30am (the guys that came from Canberra and Newcastle) says alot and kudos to the guys who ran the show the interstaters who made the effort to come over and the guys who got up in the wee hours of this morning to attend the show.
This was my first Toyotafest and I reckon that next year the second car park will be needed for sure.
If in doubt power out
yeah i had alot of fun even tho i did have to get up in the wee hours of the morning but i don't regret doing it im keen on coming next year for more hopefully with a few more mods under the belt![]()
nice pic Michael what stitch program did you use?Originally Posted by Fiery_isles

Thanks for all the kind words and thank you's to the organisers guys.
However in reality it is all of you that bought out awesome cars that make the show what it is. The quality and variety of Toyota's out there on display was extraordinary, so I have to say thanks to you guys. Although as I mentioned in the trophy presentation it did make my job of judging very dificult, I'd much rather it be hard to pick the better car between a bunch of awesome cars rather than trying to find one that is good enough to award.
I am absolutely wrapped with how the show has gone from strength to strength, it has grown every year. First year we had high 40's in terms of entry's, last year we had 69 and this year it was 94. Not only is the number of cars increasing but so is the quality so I think the community of Toyta enthusiasts are doing a hell of a job.
I really need to thank all the interstate guys who made the trip, especially from WA. I know when the idea first came up I suggested the drive might be better done for Toyota Nationals but I am extremely happy you guys decided to do it for Toyota Fest and even happier that you enjoyed yourselves. I still think freighting my car over your way and then doing the road trip back for an event is on the cards for me.
Lastly, although the show is all about the entrants I do have to thank the guys on the board for keeping things moving and helping everyone have a good day.
Yes, I popped in for a looksee,
I didn't enter this year as I didn't want to
a) get up early, and
b) spend hours washing the car.
It was a great turn out - I can't beleive how many bloody cressidas there are now being done up, it's great to see... I counted 7 on show and another 7 in the car park...
Jesse, your 2J is awesome, so factory looking it's not funny..

Hopefully my car will make a show next year... one thing i'm still wondering about...... where were the ae86's???
That was stitched together using "autostitch". www.autostitch.net There is a free demo there
You can see the areas that are overlapped by the "ghosts" in the regions, but I dont mind that. It makes for an interesting effect
It's a good point, no spinter boys or girls there. Although from what I can see of most of the posts alot of Toymods sprinter community is in VIC.Originally Posted by 5000gt
