well if its blowing fuses aswell have you checked all the wiring for shorts?
Gday!! A guy here at my work has a KE55 that just keeps blowing globes in the rear lights. It sometimes blows the fuse and then sometimes only blows the globes.
Thats really the only info I have at this time, but I will try and find out some more.
Has anyone had this happen to them at all??![]()
Any help would be appreciated.
Regards, Ben.

blowing globes.. perhaps the lights are leaky and water gets in when it rains and cracks the bulbs (had this happen before)
or he has old bulbsbuy some good ones and stop driving on rough roads?
as for fuses, thats a different story... too much current is being pulled, probably due to a short or faulty wiring (wire worn through and touching body somewhere?)

Probably not much help, but my old boss always said to me, never buy a light globe that doesnt have a manufactures name on it, if its not good enough to put there name on there product its not worth using.
Maybe your mate is using $2 shop globes??

voltage regulator working ok? check it with a multimeter to be sure, though i think cars of your vintage (no offence) struggle to put out 14 volts anyway![]()
