    my first test drive on the car with new engine was in the wet and it was extremely twitchy on boost, kept snatchin left and right, traction was certainly a problem, in the dry its not so bad, although i havent really been able to give it a work out due to holding back throttle to avoid fuel cut.

    Just fix it, get a decent condition secondhand turbo. If you sell it, the next time I see you you're getting a smack around the back of the head

    yeah right now im thinkin get the turbs high flowed and install SAFC and go nuts

    Yeah your gurl certainly caught me by suprise man, had me puzzled till i seen ya in ya MR2 HAHAH classic!!!!!

    Guess who doesnt have blown turbo seals anymore

    Matty's 2 step guide to fixing "blown turbo seals"

    1. remove heat shield from turbo
    2. put dipstick back in

    Ahh wot a relief......
    Also removed the boost controller and she runs 7 psi with no spiking and no cutting, although i think it is retarding the ignition due to error code 54. I can feel it wanting to go but just not really pulling hard!!

    Well now all the problems that i HAD are now sorted.

    I fixed the oil smoke and i fixed the error code appearing which in turn created another problem.........snapped an axle!!!!!

    It turns out that the error code 54 MUST retard the timing.
    After fixing the problem and removing the error, the car ran a shitload quicker on 10 psi than it did with it runnin 13psi but having the error.

    The car was extremely quick for about 5 mins until i grabbed 3rd goin a tad to quickly and twang, axle snapped.

    Not too fussed though, cos now i know it is bloody quick and as soon i sort out the axle i shall boost it even further and go have some fun

    Ahh all the drama has now been worth it
