Default Hi ace G series to JZX90 G series CWP

I have a customer with a hi ace with G292 (4.1 open) diff. I have a 3.9 ratio from a JZX90 . Will the crown wheel and pinion from the JZX go straight into the hi ace carrier or is there likely to be bearing differences.

    Andrew,
Im sure you have allready looked at this bit, but from memory (yes yes i know.... Hows your memory Trav!!) the JZX90 is IRS and isnt the the pinion quiet noticably longer (even when veiwed from external) than the hi-ace diff??

Edit: i just realized im thinking supra (JZA not JZX), which leads me to think i have no idea what the hell im on about because i dont even know what a JZX is, is it a aristo or chaser or something other with a 1jz or 2jz engine??

Not a direct comparision.. But F - series pinion gear is the same between the IRS & live axle models.

    Sorry cannot help with G.

We are talking about the bearings not the spider gears pinion shaft.
