sorry guys, typical of me, always putting the cart before the horse. Ok I have managed to swap the guts of the 22r and the 18r dissy over, that was the easy part, where I am lost now is the wiring part. Any one in Brissie who can wire it up for me for some crisp folding stuff? As I dont want to smoke any wires...

There are only two wires from memory, one 12v and the signal for the tacho. The 12 volt goes to the + side of the coil, so wire this to the original 12v to the coil, wire the other one, I think its yellow but I cant be sure, to the tacho signal the used to run off the neg side of the coil, its done. I havent used a capacitor on the + side like the factory set up, I havent had any problems. Anybody else anything to say on the matter.
