Been thinking some more about what has happened to the roll centre of the car after reading this:

So I took a few measurements to see how low the car is from stock and discovered the front is 48mm lower than stock!

Interesting how much the original stock springs must have sagged over time, because I didn't lower it 48mm from pre-coilovers. Anyway, in an effort to get the front roll centre somewhere near the new centre of mass I though I'd install some of these:

They went in without any trouble. Before:

    After:

I also played around with the rear setup slightly. The original rear springs have a rubber 'donut' on top of them, that sits against the body. The new spring perches don't fit the donut so I took it out. To get me some more height in the rear I was looking for some rubber about 10mm thick to put between the body and the new perches. In the end I bought 'an outdoor rubber tile' from Clark rubber (15mm thick) and chopped it into a rubber annulus to sit between the body and the new spring perches.

Car is now getting aligned - I'll try 3mm total toe in on the rear.
Session booked for Barbagallo this Saturday - so should be another chance to test the suspension out.

Did you use the inner or outer hole on the new steering arms?

How much did the change the steering ratio?

Some pics of the rear coils would be brilliant

Ryley - I used the outer holes on the new arms. The new ratio feels great - however lots of other things changed at the same time (spring rate, ride height, toe, camber and castor!) so a bit hard to isolate one thing. I'll see if I can grab some pics of the rears when I'm next under it.

1g-gte - RCAs are 32mm (from Techno Toy Tuning). Wheels are 17".

Just got the car back from alignment - feels good.
Interesting how much installing the RCAs changed the setup:
Before RCAs it was set to: Castor 5 deg, Camber -2, total toe out 3mm
After RCAs measured as: Castor 5.15deg, Camber -1.75, total toe out 8.7mm.
All set back to the original settings now - shame about losing some neg camber (camber plates are maxed out).

Did you think about getting the negative camber roll center adjusters? There would be some stupid camber if you did NCRCA with ra60 struts and camber plates haha and that extra track would be lush also, btw what swaybar setup is that?

I did think about those - but already really close to having rubbing issues so I can't afford to increase my track.
    Swaybar is Whiteline adjustable

Why get these when you can get longer LCAs that fit with no worries and keep the stock style geometry (NC-RCAs stuff with this a bit too much imo), and they're much cheaper anyway

Hmmm, so it's just an additional upper spring perch... how did you attach it, just weld it in?

Looks good though! I'd love some adjustment on my rear end, it's just a smidge too low... and by a smidge, i mean I won't have an exhaust left soon.

No welding - upper perch just sits on top of the upper end of the spring (has a lip that sits inside the spring).
My only criticism of this kit is that the rears are only just high enough. As you can see, I have the perch wound up as far as I can, plus I have put a 15mm rubber isolator ontop of the perch for a little extra height.

Cheers man, good to know. I want maybe 10-20mm more height in the rear so perhaps I will get some rubber pads made up.... Rear coils might be too excessive for me at this stage.

    Thanks!
