the second team will have some Celica's in it ,and the balance made up of other makes
that's the plan so far ,

Oh man would I love to be running in the Classic Celica team. Certainly plenty of experience there. If nothing more I will try and get up there for a day to watch you all go round.

Van, to clarify, the teams being supported by the TCCA at this point are being organised by Brendan. He has taken names of people interested in running and emailed them preliminary details. He said he will be taking place confirmations in the form of fully paid deposits. If he gets 2 fully paid teams, (with enough volunteers and a manager for each), he will start taking reserve positions until there is enough for a third team.

The other point Brendan mentioned, which is a great idea btw, is that every driver needs to rope in a volunteer to attend with them.

This makes sense to establish who is prepared to commit early on and avoids situations where there are three teams running short.

Cliff mentioned that Grumpy may have up to three teams running?

It's my understanding that at this point, we are waiting until Brendan has confirmed payments by the deadline he set of 30 days from Tuesday. Then I suspect he will group the teams and work out if each team has a manager and enough volunteers. He has volunteered himself to manage one team, but has nit been specific yet.

So, right now... The TCCA have no teams finalised teams. Which is fine. Early days.

3 teams is the plan from what Brendand told me. The classic celica team and the Corolla teams from last year and a third team made up of new people wanting to do it.

Regarding accommodation, I have booked a cabin at the Benalla Leisure Park. Where is everyone else staying?

If people are looking for a place to stay, I nearly booked this place : home@seven - Benalla - Wine and High Country, VIC
I probably will next time. Certainly looks nicer than a motel room and at $190 per night for a place that sleeps 6 people, it's also affordable.
