I have the hankook slicks that Bob ran at the last hillclimb, now fitted to Todds old multifit wheels. I'm happy to bring them along if anyone wants to give them a run...

Pfft - lawn bowls. They'd boot you out Bob when you start pegging it over arm to speed the game up.

Sorry mate --- I checked my contract with Luciffer and it appears that Sprinter is be my carrage to the after life , along with several DVD'S & a couple of magazines ( purely for the articles of course ) I believe that journey is a bit tiresome.

No worries, I'll bring them with me just in case. The wheels they are on I think are 15x6.5 35p, so not ideal for a sprinter. I have a set of 28mm bolt on spacers but I'm not sure these wheels will accomodate them depending on the length of your wheel studs...

Worse - think they are 15x6 +38... Though if they are 15x6.5 want to sell them back to me? Factoring in wear & tear of course

I was tempted to try the slicks (bloody generous offer to all - thanks Tyrie!) - but I'm already going to be trying Dunlop softs and possibly some wider Yokies - so I'll be doing enough tyre changes for one day.

Dunlops softs are so soft - I bought them with about 1/3 tread left (which is more than I've ever had) - wonder how long they'll last...

eww lol, +38 does ring a bell. I'll have to check the width. Wear and tear is significant after sliding on them for a bit haha, I'm not keen to part with them though as they conveniently fit on all our cars.

To be honest I don't think the slicks would offer much over dunlop softs of the same age, and they were probably pretty similar when new. The offer stands to use them up though (including wakefield days etc), as they will just go crusty before I get to use them again!

Well it is likely to be wheel spin central for me on Sunday, the Sprinter just laid down 170kw atw running 13 psi. Not too bad for a little 1600. I am cheating though as it is on E85.

Not bad for baby turbo! Is it just pumping heat at over 13psi?
