Good photos thanks guys, keep them coming (or post up in a new thread just for pics if you prefer?)

Appreciate the comments guys, and i'm stoked with how the car performed, both visually and on the track with the new mods, and had a blast socially as always with the usual suspects and newbies at Dubbo.
Just to clarify though, as of this afternoon, some discrepancies were found in the number crunching for scores AFAIK, as such, a well deserving entrant has instead taken the "Top Toyota" title and a number of the associated trophies in the show & shine. I'm sure the organisers will reveal more detail as appropriate.
Cheers
Phil

Hi all, well the trip home was long and uneventful(which is good I guess). I'm just going to quickly clear a few things up and as soon as I get some free time I'll post up all the drag racing and khana times.
Firstly I'd like to thank all of you that made the trip out and made this an awesome event, without all your continuing support year after year this event would not be possible.
Ok here goes, Top Toyota was unfortunately wrongly awarded,
this years Top Toyota is Andrew Linton in the burgundy Supra
How did this happen ??? Incorrect data entry is the short answer. As many of you are aware we go to great lengths to keep this a "clean and fair" event. As score sheets come in I personally do not enter the scores into the computer, I always ask other people who are unbiased and non-entrants. I'm never involved in discussions about the cars that belong to people that I know personally. This was brought to my attention due to some motorkhana times being mixed up between two competitors driving one car, so then I checked all the written times and show'n'shine scores against the computer entered times and scores and discovered a mistake had been made. We had a clear winner and it is Andrew Linton.
I have already spoken to Phil and can't apologise enough to him and to Andrew, in my zealousness to be impartial I failed to be thorough and double check the data entry. Time constraints aside it should not have happened. Rest assured that next year we will be implementing some checks and measures so that this will hopefully not happen again.
Again my sincerest apologies to all involved and I hope it doesn't marr what was otherwise a fantastic Toyota Nationals.
Cheers Danae Blundell

Thankyou for having us it was a ball even if I was Only running in the ford! I'll have the rolla there next year for sure
KE55 3TGTE 234rwkw 11.7 @ 119mph
Suzuki B-King 10.2 @ 135mph
FPV GT daily SC 5L 390rwkw 11.9 @ 121mph
Sitting at the dinner last night we were running ideas though our heads and came to the conclusion that either Andrew or Phil would win top toyota. Both exceptional cars and handled a weekend of abuse with no drama.
Big thanks to Danae, Dave and co for organising the event. I can't imagine a better way to spend Easter every year then getting together a bunch of like minded car nuts. As always looking forward to 2012 being bigger and better then ever.
If in doubt power out
I was involved fairly heavily with all judging and cannot assure you guys enough how impartial and fair this event is run. Mistakes were made but as Danae said there is a massive amount of work to be undertaken to get this event running. Its fairly easy for 1 keystroke, wrongly pressed in haste for the awards ceremony, to change the results spreadsheet and is really hard to pick up. It's a credit to Danae Blundell and Dave McNeil that this event happens every year and that it runs so smoothly. With out these guys you would have no event, so thankyou guys.
Many apologies to Adam McNeil and Phil (sorry forgot your last name, guy with scariest panelvan around) for getting up and receiving an award that was taken away but please find solace that your performance was good enough to be unquestioned when you're names came up as winners when the decisions were made.

Another note: With all entry forms and CAMS documents, they are official documents that effect our insurance cover for the event... e.g. if a "Mitsubishi Magna" written down as a "TRD Aurion" on the entry forms was to say, jam a throttle cable open and spear into a crowd, our insurance would be void as it was not an "TRD Aurion" and the event organisers would then be liable for the costs. I'm not trying to have a dig, we all appreciate a joke (it was funny) but please think about the implications when writing on entry forms.

In light of the call for helpful suggestions and constructive criticism, I'm not sure your comments above will be viewed in a particularly welcoming light hey champ, so you might want to consider revising if this thread is to remain positive.
No need for bashing from either side of the fence here
Cheers
