I'm so confused :S![]()
Yeah, getting them to fit is the same. It's also worth mentioning to get the knuckle from the p/s rack as the shaft coming out of the rack is larger than the non p/s one.

the one off a corona is also compatiable, I might be able to get one of them this weekend
If you want to get the steering column made up without having to hack and slash it, I have a guy who setups it up with a unique little carrier bearing, and it's better than new.
ok ok so i still need the corona or ke70 steering column ?upper and bottom shafts? and also what intermidiate shaft do i need? And you guys recommend i get the ae86 PS knuckles for my non PS rack?
Am i correct or still lost?
Don't worry about the AE86 powersteering knuckles. Just use your standard ones, unless you really want the extra lock...
You need the bottom of the KE70 steering shaft, to weld to the bottom of your celica shaft. You'll want to grab the KE70 shaft that joins the lower KE70 knuckle, to the KE70 rack knuckle.

cheers mat
If you can find AE86 p/s knuckles grab them. But they are rather hard to find, lots of people want them, and you'll pay for them...

The P/S knuckles can still be bought new from Toyota last I heard, for cheaper than most people sell the used ones for also.
I think Takai was the one with the info on that.
I got a set new from amayama in japan (forum sponsor) - cheaper than the local dealers could do, and much cheaper than second hand - worth a look.

1994 KZN130 Surf - Daily 3ltr Turbo Diesel Goodness!
Just FWIW - I wouldn't go welding the base of the KE70 steering column to the RA23 steering column.
My experience is this doesn't end well.
The solution I found is what I mentioned above - well worth the investment.
