Now correct me if I'm wrong here but don't mobs like O' Brien & Moran make those screens here in Aus. I know that I have got screens from them for some fairly odd stuff.
Could be worth a look.

I hope this is taken wrong but there are a couple RA25's that I know of one is owned by Rodney, he found the fenders he needed but have not heard from him in a while, the other is in Calif, owned by a fella named Dru, He has a RA25 he bought for his wife, Nobody on the forums was angry that you wouldn't post pics they only wanted to see your car, I know that you are worried someone would take it but I don't think you would have to worry about that from any body on the site.
As for the TA27 I have one sitting in my garage and have had for about 22 years now it is a 75 GT and while it will never be back in original condition it does have the "slant nose" on because before internet all I had for reference was a photo of a green #1 racing 2tg L/B. While not original it has grown on me. As for parts, weatherstripping etc see Joel at toysport he has the rubber. I bought some from him for my car not long ago, I know the windshield is out there you just have to search. Good Luck with your car

I think you ment - I hope this isn't taken wrong ?
I dont know, how that thread deteriorated and asking for some questions on suspension and getting crap load of stupid post in the responses, was more then enough for me not to me not to bother with that forum again, the awesome thing about toymods forum is, loads and loads of awesome people with a load of knowledge to back it up.
I went in there to ask some technical questions, and it was like me asking how to put a cat into my gas tank for added horse power.Nobody on the forums was angry that you wouldn't post pics they only wanted to see your car

Pass thanks for the info though, I cant believe he got that 2000GT from the federal judge it use to be owned by ?As for parts, weatherstripping etc see Joel at toysport he has the rubber.
Yep I agree, isn't taken wrong, This site does have an excellent rep for knowledge, I haven't seen the video but will watch it, and finally, Joel has good prices if you can pick up the parts, the shipping to florida is a little steep but when you need the part and he has the only one stateside...well you get the idea. Thanks for the video link Good Luck

hope you guys can see the photo of it.
Nice looking car. Pitty about your issue with importing parts. That would suck if they introduced that here. Nice to see you lads in the USA are also appreciating the classic celicas and even the rare ones.
Good luck with the car!

Hi,
Nice pic! The 25/27 series were definitely the best looking Celicas ever made.
You can get parts for the doors back to the rear from the 28 series. But I think you guys in the USA have those ugly big red light/reflector things on the side at the rear - so you'll have to remove that and fill it in - assuming you got a spare 28 rear end.
The front on the 25/27 is totally different and unless you want to jam a short-nose on it (from a TA22) you'll have to try and get long-nose TA22 parts to fit. So, make sure you don't get the snout damaged on your car.
Running gear is TA22. So for brakes, suspension etc you order 22 parts.
The 25/27 is basically a (long nose) TA22 liftback, though the "long nose" ta22 came out in Jan74, whereas the 25/27 (series 1) came out in April73.

Yup it's gotten really really crapy on those lines but you know the cool thing about the Celica, at the local meet couple of Ferrari owners and a couple of other owners tell me when they had a celica back in the day and I have to give them some 411 on the car about its history since in the USA hatches were not sold untill 78 and mine being an early TA27 versionhappy to have it always wanted one.
a 2TG DOHC car with dual side drafts 40mm is just sooooooooooooooo rare in the USA![]()
and its a RHD from japan..............................
Hi,
Oh yeah, the 2T-G and 18R-G were never imported into the USA and Canada.
It's a shame, 'cos if they were then you'd never need to go to war again, your health system would been the envy of the world, your education would be world best practice, you would of been landing on Jupiter by now (after having established both Lunar and Martian colonies), the World Trade Towers would still be standing, the greenback would be smashing the currencies of the world to atoms, and finally - and perhaps most importantly - there would be no Justin Beiber.
