Plus, I gave away a six month sub on the day. Need to sort that out.

N/A for life...
Massive kudos to Dav and the board for the new venue and to growing the show to its biggest level to date.... despite the rain!!
It was a real shame i only had an hour to run around the show and check all the cars out, but I was pre-committed to Oktoberfest celebrations at the German Club in Tempe.... i cant say no to lunchtime bretzen, pork knuckle and steins!!
I wouldve loved to spend all day walking around and chatting to everyone, especially those guys who made the long trips to attend - you guys put in some huge efforts to attend, and im sure it didnt go unnoticed.
The calibre of cars is getting better each year too.
.... oh and i'll be there next year with TOYOTA powered turbo KE70. None of that datsun stuff![]()
...... butt scratcher?!
HAHA
As much as the Rad Rolla's guys have Nissan motors in a lot of their cars they have some really nice cars with beautiful workmanship. That added to the fact that they're all nice guys who represent their club extremely well when they've been to Toymods events really gives me a high opinion of their club.
Not that I think poorly of other clubs, but it is easy to be indifferent at times.
The club representation at Toyota Fest was good to see and I put in a recommendation that we probably should have a best club display trophy next year. It's something we wanted to have from the start but with Toymods club members being the vast majority of the cars on display in the earlier shows it didn't seem practical. This time around though we had a large number of other clubs with multiple cars on display so it seems to make sense now.
oh yeah - the cars on show from Radrollas were definitely of a high calibre.
I'd be happy if mine ends up looking 20% as good as theirs.
But then again, we are talking about pumpboy the 2nd.
...... butt scratcher?!
Well it did not take as long as I though it would have,
I've been at work since the event so I'm happy that I got it done this quick Here it is..

(I just think its his type and is on his iriver)
I've got most of the cars that were there in the video if your car is not in it
I'm sorry as I got distracted by talking to awesome people.
Any feed back you want to give to me would be much appreciated.
Happy days,
Craig

Time is priceless yet it costs us nothing. You can do anything you want with it but you can't own it.You can spend it but you can't keep it.And once you've lost it, there is no getting it back, it's just gone."
Best Toyotafest I've been to. Well done to Dav and his cohorts in creating a top show for us. Can't wait for next year, hopefully we can get on the roof so I can work on my tan though...
Top cars, top company, sensational organisation, two thumbs up.
Cheers

51LII, Gerrard and myself have finally made it home this arvo. Had a FRIGGEN AWESOME weekend!! Despite being tired and cranky on the outside I still am wearing a massive grin on the insidePretty impressed with 51LII's reliability on the drive there and back, its never done such a huge trek and it stepped up to the plate.
A huge thank you to the Toymods car club and the organisers of the event, for the past few years I have been impressed with the photos but nothing compares to being there and experiencing it for yourself. We will be back next year!
I cant believe how fast the day went. And despite my lack of sleep I was in high spirits the entire day, not once did I feel like it was dragging.
I was really happy to finally meet the crew, catch up with the ones I have met in Brissy, and a bit bummed I didnt get to meet everyone I hoped to meet, but theres always Dubbo or Toyotafest 2011. Thanks to those who saw my shirt and stopped me to say HI, thanks, it added to an already awesome day
I was a bit surprised how much attention my car got, it was no where near the calibre of a lot of cars there, so thanks to all for the kind words, makes it all even more worthwhile and has given me WAY more motivation for the next modifications. The radrollaz boys had some of my favourite cars (I have a soft spot for them since my first car was a KE55), and they were a really nice bunch to talk to.
Everyone that won a trophy really did deserve it. I think the only thing the day was lacking was sun shining down on some of those awesome paint jobs, but at least the undercover area had really good lighting. The photos and videos look awesome! Hopefully Gerrard will have his up soon.

O/T a bit here, but I've started uploading vids of the day to my YouTube channel, and the quality isn't anywhere near what I wanted. I shot these in HD on my vid cam and it's blurry in places and possibly doesn't like artificial light. Anyone know what can be done to rectify this?
