1 - If you want a legal street car look into the QLD regs and check whether either of them you're looking at are/can be modplated/engineered
2 - If that's all fine, buy one of them and enjoy it.
3 - If you then want more power look at SC or turbo or something else.
Basically start thinking about supercharging it after you have the car, have driven it and ironed out any other bugs.

PS, thanks for the 1UZ info. I had always thought Toyota had just bought the rights to the old 253 and whacked a Lexus/Toyota badge on it.
I need a working 4AGE bottom end. Pref smallport GZE, but all others considered. Also complete motors.
Drift Volvo. Was fun. 2JZ next time.
A MX73 weighs 1458 kgs... That's a power to weight ratio of 1:5 which isn't all that good.
AE86 with a stock Beams has a power to weight of 1:4 which will make the AE86 still faster.
Ps. 1UZ is 190kw
Have a search for Glenn's track vids, his car is an absolute dragon slayer! It swallows everything else on the track.
thankyou gents. Sorry, used to talking to retards on boostcruising, apologies for the edumacation
Awesome, looks like the BEAMS is my motorAE86 should be nice, a KE20 would be sweet too haha
Will definitely check out the quad throttle bodiesAre they hard to setup?
Just don't expect the nice big band of torque down low tha the 1U gave you. You'll need to rev the 3S to get the performance out of it.
I thought the dual vvti gave it good low/mid torque? Yeah you're right i'm gonna hate it off the line... But I'll live with it for a while heh
Displacement helps as well as cams do..
You change your mind so much dude.. Sheesh, how many pages have you linked me on MSN dude going "What do you think?"
