Ae86 with 3S-GE, supercharging?

1 - If you want a legal street car look into the QLD regs and check whether either of them you're looking at are/can be modplated/engineered
2 - If that's all fine, buy one of them and enjoy it.
3 - If you then want more power look at SC or turbo or something else.

Basically start thinking about supercharging it after you have the car, have driven it and ironed out any other bugs.

If so, then go the Beams one without question. Beams, set of Blacktop 4A Quads on adapter (made by Celica RA45) and you can get 180rwkw (240rwhp, and roughly 300bhp) out of it just like Glenn did - http://www.toymods.org.au/forums/showthread.php?t=40381

Far out. The scubaru was like the slowest out of those cars... no torque till boost. I hate boxers, slow as. The Cressida kicked ass off the line, and the 31 is quicker than it, as far as 0-100, only just though.

you know 1uz = 200kw quad cam all alloy Lexus V8 right? + WOLF ecu, minus 400kgs from a celsior/soarer, with a 5spd box, AND a 4.11 diff?

A MX73 weighs 1458 kgs... That's a power to weight ratio of 1:5 which isn't all that good.

AE86 with a stock Beams has a power to weight of 1:4 which will make the AE86 still faster.

Just don't expect the nice big band of torque down low tha the 1U gave you. You'll need to rev the 3S to get the performance out of it.
