    Default Greddy Rebic LC

    firstly WTF is it?

i have been given one to try out and wanna know what it does and how it works..

it plugs into the factory computer and apparently controls fuel..

it says it eliminates fuelcut/ speedcut and rev limiter...

however the only adjustment on it is a dial with 0 to 10 on it..

has anyone used one, or know how it works..

    cheers

    Quote from some anti-rice forum;

That gets rid of the fuel cut and rev limiter, and has an optional top speed cut remover(only for JDM Ecu's if i remember)....

It allows map adjustment by turning the potentiometer on the side, and it has a remote Injection duty cycle monitor.

Its very rare, at least the ones for the late 80's supras are.

Seems to be specially tailored for 7MGTE according to some sites.

I might possibly be able to have access to one of these, and have been thinking of one since there boost cut control is much more effective than fuel cut controllers or defenders they are a decent unit really.

These are a excellent alternative to full ems for the 1g or 7m, at only a fraction of the price.

HAS ANYONE here got one running on there 7m or 1g?

haha sounds like you didnt no what you where doing man?

wiring easy its got a full harness...

what where you using to measure your adjustments?

perhaps It might have been faulty aye, ive heard of two people with them and they have both done the trick good as gold! At the end of the day fuel control is all your really worried about when increasing boost power etc. Not all the other crap with full ems, in my case it would just be wasted really. Why spend $1000s i just am increasing my fuel thats all i would be wanting to do and adjust airflow.

    Um... Not exactly mate..

Giving it more fuel is important, but controlled fuel mapping, timing adjustment etc... Is more important...

Not to mention the rebic is an additional injector controller, so you are running
    two separate sets of injectors...

I had it wired up properly and we tried tuning it on a dyno... Had factory 440's in the 7m with 2 additional 550's in the crossover pipe...

The tuning style is ancient and all it provides is a bit of extra fuel... Pointless without additional adjustment...

Cheap bang for buck I guess... But a safc does basically the same, with a better interface, more user friendly etc...

Full management is the way to go... But each to their own I guess..
