Some of us want to get some times before we do some mods, anyone want to come with?

If we have enough people I will book a lane out for us.

Date is the 5th of May 2010.
At Kwinana Motorplex.

All you need to compete is a roadworthy (unlicenced, yellow sticker ok) muffled Street Car or Bike and clothing requirements as below;
Road worthy closed cars (Sedans/Utes etc) Min clothing, a helmet and long sleeves, long pants and enclosed footware.
Road worthy open cars (convertibles/roadsters) slower than 12.99 seconds (1/4mile)/8.50 (1/8mile). Min clothing, a helmet leather jacket or bike jacket with appropriate inserts, full face helmet and visor full leather gloves long pants and shoes and socks.
Road worthy open cars (convertibles/roadsters) faster than 12.99 seconds (1/4mile)/8.50 (1/8mile). As per ANDRA rules ie: roll cage, arm restraints, harness, etc

All Motorcycle riders need a recognised riding jacket with appropriate protection inserts, or leather riding jacket, long pants ankle length boots full leather motorcycle riding gloves as minimum or preferably full bike riding leathers.

All drivers and riders must hold or have held a civil drivers licence.

Notes on Helmets...
If your helmet is over 12 years old then it is probably not acceptable for use on the Drag Strip. Look for the following markings to check if your helmet is ok to use for racing. Sometimes the label is under the padding inside the helmet.

Full or Open Face Helmets bearing any of these standards are acceptable;
SNELL SA 2000, SA 2005, SFI 31.2 (US)
SNELL M 2000, M2005, SFI 41.2 (US)
BS 6658-85 Type A (British)
SNELL 2000/2005 - SFI 31.1 (US)
BS 6658-1985 Type A/FR (British)
AS/NZS 1698/2006 (AS/NZS 1698) < Note this new standard

oh man.. sooooo not fair with the timing..

doesnt look like my car is gonna be ready for this event either...

i was hoping to take it for a run down the drags for a laugh...

stretched tires, welded diff, 16kg springs and fuck off hard dampers will surely help me with my launches

i just wanna see how far down the track i can smoke the tires..

will try to make it, but am doubtful..
