TAG - What is? / Rules!
What is Tag???
It is where one person holds the tag at a location.
To take the tag, you must go to that location and tag your Car where the current tag photo was taken.
You must be the first person to post back on this site with photo proof of the tag and post a new tag location at the same time.
The Rules!
Inner Tag (ACT and surrounding areas)
1. Photo Evidence must be provided for all Tags.
2. Locations must match. As good as you can get to the original, (daytime/nighttime exceptions....
3. Tags are not to be further than 100km from Canberra. (Parliament House is the reference point)
4. Tags must be accessible by sealed roads only.
5. Tag locations must be permanent fixtures. (i.e. no food vans, construction work areas etc.)
6. To claim the tag, you must be the first to post both a pic of the current tag and a new tag location.
7. All tags photo must identify the location of the tag. i.e., one of the following: suburb, business name or significant landmark.
8. Hints may be given by the current tag holder to encourage people to get the tag!
9. All tags must be posted on this forum before the next tag can be claimed.
10. Pre-Prepared tag photos must be no more than 3 months old.
So for the not so technically minded persons. You have a look at the tag photo on this Forum, you think to yourself, geez, that looks like XXXX near the old XXXX, drive to said location, take a photo of your car and location trying to make the image look as similar to the one previously posted on the forum. Then you drive to a new location of your choosing, take a snap of your car and a significant object in the background so others can see where you’ve been. Then post the two images on the forum in the same post. First Image with a comment above it so others who didn’t (or in some cases) couldn’t work out where the previous TAG was. And then the new TAG
All tags MUST be easily achievable by all drivers! So….. no off-roading, no illegal entry to sites/car-parks/playgrounds/fancy locations that can get you into trouble with the 5-0…
A post should look similar to this… (maybe a wider photo so the background can be seen)
Old Tag = My 4Runner Outside Phillip Dyno services
NEW TAG
HINT/Tip: China town
So now the rules are down… and the first Image is up

Take shoe off & hold it in front of the camera.
Then do the same for your new location.
Lucky Canberra is small enough to do this kind of thing. I doubt it would work in Sydney. There are people here who've never been west fo Strathfield![]()

Fitted new brakes on the weekend, thought it was a good chance to try them out - work really well.
