pm 6boost. i think he knows how to get hold of them.
Ok, i'm having some difficulty getting a part number for some ARP head studs and rod bolts. I've searched throughout the forum and the net and I've had no luck. The ARP catalogue also doesn't have a reference for them. Any help would be greatly appreciated![]()

There are heap studs available, but they are not specifically for a 1GGTE. In order to fit then, the head needs some relieving around where the head bolts go.
Not sure what there is available for rod bolts, but surely there could be something to substiute them for.
I have discovered this week that the ARP head studs can be fitted without any machine work jamie, just drop them straight in. The only tricks needed are a deep 12mm 12 point socket, and you have to put the washers that go under the nuts on the head before you lower it down over the studs, or conversely, put the studs in through the washers after you've put the head on. I'd do option 1, takes all of 5 sec to put them in. Other than that, you don't need to do a thing. If anyone needs head or main studs, Jamie(Forcefed6) can suply them, I bought both my head and main studs from him, thanks jamie![]()
As for rod bolts, I'm not sure. I didn't bother, I expect it to destroy the piston before the bolts, they are a fairly stout bit of kit as standard anyway.

Ok.... Thanks for the heads up then..
