4A-GE Dipstick Length Info Needed

Engine is smallport 4AGE and missing its original dipstick. Currently using 4AC but figured it must be the wrong length. Filling 4 liters of oil would only wet the tip. Rubbing it with a tissue and inserting it again on cold mornings confirms this (this sounds kinky doesnt it). So.. can anyone help me by measuring their disptick length, in mm preferably:
A = dipstick rubber seal (where it contacts the tube) to tip
B = rubber seal to low mark
C = rubber seal to full mark

I couldnt find new dipstick anywhere local so im going to find longer substitute and cut to length.

Bigports might be of same length,no?

Shoot SamQ a PM about this. From what he says there's 2 different length dip sticks.

total length 454mm.
from bottom of seal to bottom of dipstick = 326mm
from bottom of seal to Full = 292mm
from bottom of seal to Low = 316mm
4mm wide.

Thanks fixeruperer! i think the Low and Full numbers are swapped? Low should be further from the seal right?
Anyway, which 4A-GE dipstick is this? Oh, i'll post mine as well for comparison and future reference. Off to measure now.

just as i thought, 4A-C has different length.

4A-C dipstick length:
bottom of seal to tip = 303mm
bottom of seal to low mark = 294mm
bottom of seal to full mark = 278mm

so.. with 4 liters of oil reaching only 303mm, i should be well in range of 4A-GE dipstick (Full 292 to Low 316mm).
i should add that the 4 liters were added to a totally dry engine, just finished rebuild.
next oil change, i will fill it to reach the low mark as this would be the full mark on normal 4A-GE dipstick.

haha yes, sorry i corrected it.

i dont know how much different the dipstick tubes are on 4ac-4ag. ill measure the tube now. (installed height, measuring from top of oil cover (where tube fits in) to the top of the tube is 200mm)

my dipstick is from an unknown 4a engine. (from an ae9* era i guess., the ae101 had the black T handle dipstick, the ae9* had the yellow round handle)
i think 4lts is about right.
