MZ20 brake master cylinder

My soarer's master cylinder seems to be on its way out, so...

Are MA70 master cylinders easy to get?
Is an MA70 master cylinder going to be identical to an MZ20 one?
Are master cylinders identical regardless of whether or not a ABS is fitted?

whats wrong with it ? is it jsut requiring a rebuild ? bad piston seals / pitted bore ?

consider getting a stainless steel sleeve and a rebuild kit though it. saves chancing it on another 20yr old unit.

Feels like the seals are probably going, though I'm still driving around with it at the moment.

I was hoping that it would be possible to buy a new replacement instead of re-sleeving the old one. If not, then I guess a rebuild is on the cards.

Someone must know the answer to this, or have access to the toyota part numbers in order to check.

Or please, if you know where I can find the part numbers, let me know! So far I've only been able to find the part numbers on US MA70, but no one knows anything about MZ20.

I'm 99.95% positive it's the same unit, ie. an ma70 master cylinder rebuild kit will work with your z20, also there isn't a diference between the abs and non abs units either.
