Need help with 4A-GZE igniter

Hey everybody,

I have a 1988 Corolla with an engine swap that has a 1988 4A-GZE engine in it. when the guy did the swap he messed up a bunch of stuff and I'm still working to get it all figured out but at the moment it doesn't run due to a bad igniter. I can't find an igniter for my specific engine, but I heard that a 7MGTE igniter from a Supra will work.

I was wondering how one could make the conversion and how it will work differently.

Any info or guidence will be greatly appreciated

i have 2 4agze ignitors spare in the shed since i went to direct fire with ls1 coils...


The 7mgte ignitor works...

There wouldn't be much difference in the wiring,
