    Default cressida plus clutch

Hi all, i have recently fitted a W58 to my MX83 cressida. All is fine with the swap, but I am getting the OD on/off light on the dash constantly flashing at me. Does anyone out there know how to stop this, a resistor perhaps?

Also my cruise isnt working (dunno if it was before the swap), is this tied into the auto?

    cheers

    Disconnect the O/D light LOL.

With your cruise, make sure the cruise control ecu doesn't think your in Neutral.

If the Cressida runs a separate ECT ECU then unplugging that will stop the O/D light from flashing. (the MX73 and the MA70 do, just not sure about the MX83).
Failing that, removing the globe is the only way to get it to stop flashing.

With the cruise, disconnect the THICK B-W wire going into the cruise box. It will fix it (assuming it was working beforehand)

    yes.

Should have a clutch switch wired into the neutral terminal on the cruise ecu though.

I was going to wire one up on the Supra Rudi, I just couldn't be bothered in the end
Plus, if you change gears quick enough the cruise doesn't care.

ECT is in the Engine ECU in MX83. I'd just remove the globe.

The 'R' is connected to the reverse lights, so if the reverse lights are hooked up (as they should be), the R works.

The one that goes to where the shifter connects to.

PRND21 and the NSW are all on the same plug.
