Default Intercooler Pipe Bead Rolling, who can do in Brisbane (Stainless)

Looking for a place in Brisbane that can roll some beads into some 1.6mm 2.75" & 3" OD Stainless Pipe (304SS) for my intercooler pipes!

Will do some calling around, but if anyone can help me that would be great

    >ARE only do alloy
    >Right price exhausts, No --> Suggested Custom Exhausts
    >Custom Exhausts, No

    i.e.

PS: Yes I do realise that I can weld some beads on...I've done this in the past

    Cheers
    Wilbo

Any radiator shop will be able to do it.

If you were in Canberra I could do it

    In stainless?

Can I send you 1x2.75" & 3x3" short bits of pipe and you get it done for me? (That way I can just weld the 'beaded' bits into my pipes when I make them!)

    Cheers

The Natrad local to me does IC piping in aluminium, stainless and can roll beads on those materials. Natrad is a national franchise, you'd have one up there? Most exhaust shops around here dabble in IC piping now days too, so that's another option.

You could send it if you like but I reckon you'll find someone local to do it for less than the postage

    Yah,

Looks like Hi-Tech Radiators will be able to do it for me, obvs they hit the pipe with an oxy to soften it... $10 a bead...

Will look mint, I like (sarcasm )

Other options for those not as fussed about appearance as I am are as follows...

Weld and machine back on lathe...

Or make a bead 'roller' from a set of vise grips (Works better on alloy I'd think)
    e.g.

LOL that vice grip bead roller looks like a terminator spec cockatoo.

Good to hear you found a place locally Wilbo.

Anything less than a neatly rolled bead is fair ghetto.

I've always had great success by running a bead of weld around the pipe about 5mm from the end.
Don't worry what people think, they don't do it very often.
